Catherine "Cathy" Martin

Catherine “Cathy” Lee Martin, 66, of Milton, Florida, passed away on March 23, 2026. Spending her early life in Melbourne, Florida, Cathy spent most of her life in the state she loved so deeply, eventually making her home in Milton—a place she was proud to call her own.

Cathy will be remembered for her open heart, thoughtful spirit, and the genuine respect she showed to all people and ideas. She had a lifelong love of the beach, where she found peace and joy, as well as a passion for reading that mirrored her curious and reflective nature. She also enjoyed trips to the casino, where she found excitement and fun.

She was a devoted mother who played an active and constant role in her daughter’s life, offering guidance, support, and unwavering love. Cathy also valued taking care of herself, maintaining a consistent gym routine that reflected her discipline and strength.

Among her greatest joys was her beloved dog, Lola, who brought her daily companionship and happiness.

Cathy is survived by her loving daughter, Jessica Kari (Kirsten); mother, Charlotte; and her brothers K.C. and Tommy. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, openness, and quiet strength that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on April 15 at 2:00 p.m., where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate her life.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages others to honor Cathy by spending time with loved ones, enjoying the beauty of the beach, visiting a favorite place for a bit of fun, or getting lost in a good book—simple joys that meant so much to her.
