Catherine Dadabo

February 24, 1930 — November 27, 2015

Catherine Healy Dadabo passed away peacefully into Jesus’ arms on November 27, 2015. She was the beloved wife of Frank Dadabo, mother of Joseph and (Michele) Dadabo, of Gulf Breeze, Dorothy Najarian of Pensacola and Nancy and (Artie) Bryson of Hopewell Junction, NY, grandmother of Alexander Najarian, Allisa and JoJo Dadabo, and Catherine and Candace Bryson, great-grandmother of Olivia and Orion Dadabo.
Catherine was born on February 24, 1930, in New York City. She was Director of Medical Records at St. Francis Hospital, Bronx, New York, where she met her husband Frank. Catherine and Frank were married on September 15, 1956, and she became a homemaker, living and raising their family in the Bronx. In 1974, they moved to Lake Carmel, New York, where she became Director of Medical Records at Putnam Hospital Center. She and Frank (who survives her at home) retired to Gulf Breeze, Florida in 1995. Catherine was an avid reader, movie enthusiast and animal lover.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Humane Society or A.S.P.C.A.
The Dadabo family wish to express their grateful appreciation for the loving and expert care Catherine received at the Bay Breeze Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility and for the kindness and support afforded to the family.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, December 2nd at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Gulf Breeze, from 9:00 until 10:00 AM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, with a graveside service at Rose Lawn Cemetery.
