Carol Sked

Carol F Sked, 85, of Gulf Breeze, Florida passed away on June 26, 2015. Carol was born to Sarah and Walter Sked on November 6, 1929 in Pennington, New Jersey. She lived most of her early life in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and then moved to Florida in 2006. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ogden and Richard Sked and sister, Vera Sked Harrop. Carol attended schools in Pennington, NJ and retired from the NJ State Department of Education after 38 years. She enjoyed traveling and being with family and she loved, and was loved by all children. She is survived by her sister, Norma Wagner of Gulf Breeze, FL; brother-in-law, Jack Harrop of Pennington, NJ, sister-in-law, Glenda Sked Wilson of Tulsa, OK, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Carol's name may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 9601, Washington, DC 20090-6011 Warm and heartfelt appreciation goes to Emerald Coast Hospice nurses and aides and to the staff of the Memory Care Unit at The Blake in Gulf Breeze, FL. Private services will be held in Pennington, NJ.
