Carmen Wright Edwards

Carmen Wright Edwards, a good and faithful servant, fought the good fight, lived the good life, and went to be with our Lord Tuesday, September 29th, 2025.

Carmen was born in Tuscola, Illinois, on November 6th, 1929; graduated from the University of West Florida and was an accomplished businesswoman. While others were burning bras Carmen was blazing new trails.

Carmen is predeceased by her husband Guy Lawrence “Larry” Wright, son Jon Alan Wright, and husband Eugene O. "Bill" Edwards.

Carmen is survived by her son Lane Wright and his three children: Kevin (Anna) and their children, Jordan, Liam, and Kane; Kandace and her children, Landen, Maddox, Lillie, Parker, Emma, and Lincoln; and Sydney and her son Jack; her daughter-in-law Debbie Wright (Jon) and their three children, Joseph; Tiffany and her daughters, Taylor and Jordan; and Kaley.

Give her the fruit of her hands and let her own works praise her in the gates. Proverbs 31:31

A private memorial and inurnment service will be held at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church.
