Audrie J. Shlisky

Audrie Joette Shlisky, of Laurelton, New York, formerly of Las Vegas, Nevada and Gulf Breeze, Florida, passed away peacefully at the age of 79 on May 8, 2026.

She was the beloved wife of the late Marvin T. Shlisky for 35 years, the beloved mother of Anju, Brooke and Kandice, sister of Barbara (Willie)  and loving aunt to Ashley (Dennis) as well as great-aunt to her great-niece and great-nephew.

Widowed, Audrie faced life courageously and with hope.  An entrepreneur who ran several successful businesses, she also delighted in simple joys; lots and lots of ice cream, bingo, trips to Jones Beach with her daughters, and watching The Young and the Restless. Known for her bold spirit and honesty, she never hesitated to speak her mind, bringing both laughter and admiration to those around her.

Audrie’s warmth, humor, and zest for life will be deeply missed. Her spirit lives on in the love and memories she shared with her family, friends, and her church family. She was a member of Midway House of Faith Church, Gulf Breeze, Florida.
