Alfred Garza Iii

Alfred Carl Garza, III passed away suddenly on September 18, 2008. Al was born on March 28, 1973, in Gainesville, FL and grew up in Gulf Breeze, FL where he played the sports he loved, football and baseball. Al was a very loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, family member and friend. Those who knew Al were blessed by his affectionate, fun loving, generous spirit (who could forget those hugs!). He was a caring, sincere and devoted family man whose smiling face brought joy to those he loved and who loved him. Al is survived by the loves of his life his wife Lisa and son Alfred Carl Garza, IV; his loving parents, Alfred & Marsha Garza, Jr.; his paternal grandfather, Alfred C Garza, Sr; his maternal grandparents, Bess & Edward O Roggenbuck, Jr; his sister, Melissa Garza; his brother, Anthony (Tony) & Gina Garza; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be: Tony Garza, Arthur Garza, Bobby Garza, Edward (Sonny) Roggenbuck IV; Marc Taranto and Chad Pope. Visitation will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at 2:00 PM at the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church with Dr. Herbert Sadler officiating, a graveside service will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church.
