Pamela Jann Shivers, age 63, passed away on January 25, 2019. Born on February 28, 1955 in Columbus, Georgia, she was a long-time resident of Gulf Breeze, Florida.
Pam had the most beautiful smile and a dynamic personality. She could literally light up a room and was full of life. She was such a caring person and was always ready to hear someone’s story and offer words of encouragement. She loved to travel and looked forward to going on her cruises when she could. Music was also a big part of her life.
She had so many friends who she loved and who felt blessed to have Pam in their lives. She owned a plant business and was known around town as “The Plant Lady”.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Shivers, and is survived by her mother, Bettye Shivers, brother Chip Shivers and his partner Sue Ann Williamson, nephews Devin and wife Amanda Shivers and their son Ridge; Colton Shivers and his daughter McKinlee, niece Jennifer and husband Steven Fernandez, cousin like a brother Ted and his wife Tracie Hurt and dozens of cousins whom she grew up with.
Pam’s Celebration of Life will be Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Seville Quarter, 130 East Government St., Pensacola, FL 32502.
In lieu of flowers, and at the request of her family, please consider a memorial contribution in Pam's memory to a local charity of your choice.

Pam you were an Angel on earth. You blessed so many people, no matter what town or state you were in. My heart is shattered. I miss you more than I can express.
I feel so blessed to have had our teens and young adulthood to spend together. All your cousins in California are devastated. I know you’re in heaven & I lean on the knowledge that we will be reunited in heaven one day.
Sleep peacefully my dearest cousin
I’ll love you forever & you live on in the hearts of many.

I have good memories of us, working at the Boy on the Dolphin Restaurant years ago. You always put a smile on my face, and was there when I needed a friend. Thank you and rest in peace.

My beautiful, funny, full of life best friend since 1978. We met when we were waitresses in CA together on Ventura Blvd. We sailed together, cried together, laughed together and partied hearty together. You will forever be in my heart!

Pam was so full of light. I always enjoyed spending a few moments talking with her when she came by my desk at AppRiver to care for the plants she loved. She was a bright spot in the day whenever I saw her. My heart goes out to all her family and friends. She was a very dear woman, and she will be greatly missed by many.

Pam was always smiling. Has not seen her in over a year. Remember her at friends homes during Summer BBQ. And once at her house for a Kentucky Derby horse race party. Always funny, and making everyone feel right at home. She was a Angel to her friends and family I am sure. RIP Miss Pam.
