Gladys, age 91, has gone to be with her loved ones in heaven. She was born February 15, 1927 in Century, FL and raised in Semirah Springs, AL. Resided in Pensacola, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie & Isabelle Gibson Woods, two brothers Eugene and Charles Woods, one sister Margree Luverta “Bert” Woods, a son Robert Eugene “Bigboy” Trawick and her husband of 47 years Robert Joe Trawick.

She leaves behind two daughters Brenda (the late Billy) Jackson and Vonnie (Jimmy) Rogers, two sons Bobby (Linda) Trawick and Marcus (Susan) Trawick all of Pensacola, FL. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. One sister Mary Roley of Bay Minette, AL. Many nieces, nephews and other family members.

She was a member of Gateway Baptist Church & the Ladies Sunday School Class. She was the clan mother of the Flying Eagle Indian Dancers. A member of EX-POW National Organization.

The family would like to Thank; Angelic Abbott for the wonderful love and care she gave to Gladys for the past 11 months, the nurses from Covenant Care of Pensacola, and the ushers of Gateway Baptist for their faithful help every Sunday.

A time of visitation will be held at Gateway Baptist Church, Pensacola, on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 form 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a funeral service held there at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Klondike Baptist Church Cemetery, Pensacola.
