Connie Moore Bowen, 66, passed away on April 2, 2019, after a long battle with ALS.
Connie was born in Florence, AL, but moved to Pensacola as a young girl and attended local schools, graduating cum laude from UWF in 1979. Connie was a kind and loving person, wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 40 years, Thom Bowen, her daughter, Amanda Bowen Crabtree (Christopher Yates), and her grandson, Griffin Crabtree. Connie also leaves behind, her sister Dorcas Bradford and nephew Scott Bradford (Pat), each of Decatur AL, great-nephew Matthew Bradford (Tina) of St.Louis MO, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends here at home.
Connie's remains were cremated, as was her wish. Thom and Amanda invite family and friends to a memorial gathering at the family's home in Gulf Breeze, on Sunday, April 7, between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 pm.
I went to junior and senior high school with Connie. I have fond memories of her as a cheerful, friendly and kind classmate always; very classy.
