Isabelle L. Phillips, age 90, a resident of Pensacola, FL, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Isabelle was born in Danville, PA on September 8, 1927 to Charles and Mae Litterer. She married Aubrey Phillips of Sugar Creek, MO in January 1947 while he was in the Navy and stationed at the Pensacola Naval Air Station. They lived mostly in the state of Missouri, moving between Clinton and the Kansas City area as her husband's job with KCP&L demanded.

Upon Aubrey's retirement in 1990, they moved back to Pensacola where they had fallen in love. Isabelle and Aubrey made various missionary trips together before Aubrey passed away in 1995. Isabelle continued as a missionary in Africa until she retired, when she decided to take up residence at Azalea Trace in Pensacola Florida.

Isabelle was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband Aubrey, and youngest son Daniel Phillips as well as her sister June Green of CA.

She is survived by her daughter Dr. Loretta Ollison, son Charles L. Phillips, grandsons Raymond “Robbie” Ollison, Erich and Travis Phillips, granddaughters Sherrie Kennedy and Tina McGinnis, as well as her twelve great- grandchildren, two half-sisters, two half-brothers and many nieces and nephews.

She was loved and revered by both family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to have shared a part of her life.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Lawn Funeral Home; 2942 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze, FL. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Barrancas Cemetery on the Pensacola Naval Air Station immediately following a brief funeral service.

Those wanting to participate in the burial service at the Naval Air Station must meet and accompany the processional departing from the Rose Lawn Funeral Home due to new security measures at the Naval Air Station.

I'm so sorry about the loss of Isabelle. She'll be missed by so many. God promises us at Isaiah 25:8 that one day soon death will be swallowed up and done away with. Those comforting words we look forward to being fulfilled.

She will be greatly missed. I remember going to Florida to see Aub and Isabelle with my parents and sleeping in their walk in closet. I also remember going to the lodge and fishing, playing cards and eating some great food.
